Zibo Grand Theater short-listed at this year's World Architecture Festival award(WAF)in Spain
The Barcelona based event, awarding architectural excellence will judge the new logon designed Zibo Grand Theater this year. Located in Zibo, the birthplace of football and Qi culture, the city has a rich heritage in pottery and ceramics that inspired the architects to design with this in mind. The building is organized in three horizontal units.

logon is nominated for the 2011 Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany
The Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany is the country‘s highest distinction in the field of design. It is known as the ‘Prize of Prizes’. The Prize is sponsored by the Ministry of Economics and Technology and facilitated by the German Design Council. The German Design Award 2011 will showcase up to 25 outstanding projects and achievements in the area of communication design as well as up to 25 projects in the product design category. The logon project 800SHOW was chosen for this prize. |

logon officially opens its new Shanghai office extension
After months of design and construction, the additional 200sq.m to the shanghai logon office was finally unveiled and opened. The supplementary space is designed to provide additional working and leisure space for employees. It is also equipped with an additional meeting room and with the latest low carbon and energy saving technology. “…this space will help facilitate teamwork and collaboration within our design teams” said Krueger, logon partner and Creative Director. The logon shanghai office, located in a renovated factory now employs about 60 staff. |

Netherlands Prime Minister J.P. Balkenende visits the Dutch Culture Centre @ 800SHOW
The Dutch Prime Minister hosted a round table conference at the Jing’An room in the Dutch Culture Centre located at 800SHOW; an official Shanghai World Expo site. He also was onsite to visit the newly opened exhibition Double Infinity. The Prime Minister Mr. Jan Peter Balkenende was warmly welcomed by the vice Governor Mr. Lu Xiaodong of the Jing’An District, Shanghai. To read click here >> |

Dutch Culture Centre launches official 2010 Shanghai Expo venue
On March 6th the Dutch Culture Centre (DCC) officially launched the first of its two 2010 Shanghai Expo pavilions, located at logon designed 800SHOW creative park. Holland is the only country with two Expo pavilions and is dedicating its 800SHOW location to display both Dutch and Chinese arts and culture for 6 months.
